Nayi Disha – Visit No. 30
Paying it’s 30th visit to village Dudhli under the literacy project, “Nayi Disha”, BEHBOOD THE SOCIETY continues to impart knowledge among the deprived.
While the children go to schools regularly-
•More than half the students in the fifth grade cannot read at second grade level.
•The number of classrooms that cater to more than one grade level is on the rise.
•Non permanence(and mostly, absence) of teachers is demotivating. Most of the schools in rural areas are run by the govt. where in the teachers are lately or blatantly absent.
As it is rightly said, “To educate a child is to turn walks into doors.” Quality education is the only ladder that could help them and their families climb out the abyss of poverty.
